Ani Karma Sangmo

My name is Karma Sangmo, and I was born on March 18, 2010, in the village of Sanu Barbar, located in the Makwanpur district of Nepal. I am fortunate to have a family of seven members, consisting of three elder sisters and one younger brother. Dancing, particularly Tara dance, drawing, and singing are my cherished hobbies. In the year 2019, I embarked upon the noble path of becoming a nun, with the invaluable support of my father, for which I am profoundly grateful. The Tek Chok Ling nunnery holds a very special place in my heart, as the environment exudes freshness and tranquility. I consider myself immensely fortunate to reside near Rinpoche. In 2023, I seized the opportunity to join Shree Mangal Dvip School, as I faced difficulties in pursuing my studies adequately in my village. Currently, I am in grade 4, where I actively engage in eight different subjects. Amongst these subjects, English and Tibetan are particularly dear to me. During my leisure time, I relish the moments spent with my friends, as these connections and experiences hold immense value in my life.
