Ani Tsultrim Chozom

I am Tsultrim Chonzom from Okhaldunga, Nepal. I was born in 2004 and have two sisters and three brothers. Currently, my elder sister, brother, and younger sister are living in the village with my parents. Before coming to Kathmandu, I attended school in my village for two years. Due to the large number of children in our home, my parents asked if I would be interested in becoming a nun, to which I happily agreed. I wanted to study more and become a nun. In 2014, my parents brought me to Tek Chok Ling, where I met amazing dharma friends and gurus. A year later, I had the great opportunity to join SMD (Shree Mangal Dvip Boarding School). During my leisure time, I enjoy reading novels, listening to songs, and I also have a slight interest in art. I am graduating this year and I really enjoy studying at school. I am extremely grateful to my root guru Khenchen Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche for everything that has helped me transform from nothing to who I am today. I can clearly see a significant difference between my past self and who I have become now. I truly appreciate the immense changes I have experienced. It has been over 9 years since I joined Tek Chok Ling Nunnery, and during this time, I have gained valuable knowledge from both the school and the nunnery. I hope that in the future, I will be able to give back and support my nunnery, particularly by teaching younger nuns.
