The Progressive Stages of Meditation on Emptiness VIII Middle-Way Consequence:
Conduct & Fruition |
Conduct
Even though this true nature is free of elaborations, The mind oriented towards the benefit of others Ceaselessly performs the benefit of limitless beings Through the power of non-referential compassion. This is taught as the supreme conduct, free of arrogance.
Fruition
When dharmata free of elaborations manifests, All signs of elaborations are pacified within the dharmadhatu. Through the power of aspirations, one performs the benefit of beings And guides them by way of various emanations, so it is taught. |
At the Dzogchen Palace of Appearance-Emptiness, Sherab Lodro [Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche] spoke this extemporaneously, whereupon Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche immediately wrote it down.
Translated under the direction of Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche by Tyler Dewar of the Nitartha Translation Network, 2002.
