Doha Compilation Benefit CD

Dear Friends,

This summer, we are releasing a second Doha Celebration CD in honor of the 80th birthday of Khenpo Tsültrim Gyamtso Rinpoche. We warmly invite you to participate in its creation!

Here's how you can get involved:

Choose any doha in the Songs of Realization book, then create and record your own arrangement. You can use the original melodies to create versions in any musical style (e.g. jazz, rock, reggae, etc.) or you can compose new melodies for your arrangement.

We are also inviting submissions of artwork for the CD cover design; please submit high-resolution graphics files by May 20, 2014 to dohacelebration2014@gmail.com.

This CD will celebrate our lineage of doha singing as transmitted by Khenpo Tsültrim Gyamtso Rinpoche. We also plan to have Doha Celebration events in cities around the world where people can gather, sing, and collaborate.

We have assembled the following list of resources to get you started:

* Lyrics and recordings of many songs are available via Khenpo Rinpoche's website: http://ktgrinpoche.org/teachings/songs

Proceeds will benefit Khenpo Rinpoche's nunneries and NalandaWest, chosen in 2004 by Khenpo Rinpoche to be the seat of Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche and the Nalandabodhi International sangha. Further information on this project is available via this link.
