Five Definitions

In the native state of Dharma, there's no reference point,
If there is a reference point, it's not the native state.

In the Great Completeness, there's no bias at all,
If there is a bias, it is not Dzogchen.

In the Great Seal, nothing to stop or create,
If you're stopping something or creating something, it's not Mahamudra.

In the experience of Great Bliss, there are no highs and lows,
If there are highs and lows, it's not Mahasukha.

There's nothing to identify in the Great Middle Way,
If there's something to identify, it's not Madhyamaka.

And now, I, Rechungpa, am off for foreign lands,
Jetsun, my father, please take care, please be well.
