Ani Karma Choden

I am Karma Choden and I was born on 16 December 2010. My village name is Mokwanpur, Nepal. I used to live with my mother, grandparent, 3 uncles and aunt. My mother’s name is Sanu Maya Theeng. She is 35 now. I am the only child of my mother. I studied till grade four in my village but there were no subjects like Tibetan and science and dharmic education too. I got a golden opportunity to become a nun in Tek Chok Ling Nunnery. My mom brought me in the nunnery. At first, I don’t know anyone in the nunnery and I felt very lonely and odd. I missed my home and my mom. But after a few weeks I found many friends and everyone was so good to me and now I am love here. Now I have improved my Tibetan a lot. I can read and do all the morning prayers and write some words in Tibetan too. As I am the oldest in my class everyone is so sweet to me, and I also help them in some works. My best friend or close friend name is Dechen Wangmo, we are in same room too. She studies in grade 4. She is very good in Tibetan so she helps me in Tibetan subject. In my spare time I love to draw different things like house, trees, mountains, and I play games with my senior friends too. I also love to read books, drawings, painting and decorate my room. In future I want to become a doctor or a teacher.
