Ani Kunzang Dolma
I’m Kunsang Dolma, born on January 29, 2009, in a small village in the Makawanpur district. I belong to a family of 7 members, including my brother, who lives with our grandparents. My childhood was spent with them, and their love means a lot to me. At the age of 9, I became a nun, grateful for the opportunity to learn and embrace Dharmas.
Within a few months of joining nunnery, I got the chance to join SMD Boarding School, founded in 1987 by V.V.V Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche. I started my studies from special junior grade, and now I’m in grade 6. I love going to school, where I have many friends, and I also cherish the bonds in the nunnery. Helping others brings me joy. My strengths lie in being hardworking and self-motivated, and I enjoy connecting with people.
Most of my time is spent studying, watching movies, sketching, and learning new things. I’ve always been curious about the world around me, seeing each day as an opportunity to expand my knowledge and skills. My favourite subjects are history and biology. My ambition is to become rich and help those who are truly poor.
I take pride in being part of the Tek Chok Ling family and feel fortunate to be Khenpo Rinpoche’s student. Thank you for being the light in my darkness.
