In Praise of Machik's Perfection of the Paramitas

Kye ! My mother, wisdom-dakini,
Beyond being of human kind,
Mother, you wander in the mountains
And there you practice the true Dharma.

Machik you abide in emptiness,
Emptiness is free of avarice.
You are perfectly generous,
My mother, I prostrate to you.

Matchik, you abide in emptiness,
Emptiness is free of flawed ethics.
Your ethics are pure and perfect,
My mother, I prostrate to you.

Machik, you abide in emptiness,
Emptiness is free of all anger.
You are perfectly patient,
My mother, I prostrate to you.

Machik, you abide in emptiness,
Emptiness is free of laziness
You are perfectly diligent,
My mother, I prostrate to you.

Machik you abide in emptiness,
Emptiness is free of distraction.
You have perfect concentration,
My mother, I prostrate to you.

Machik, you abide in emptiness,
Emptiness is free of ignorance.
You have pure and perfect wisdom.
My mother, I prostrate to you.

Mother, all of the six perfections
Are present in your enlightened mind.
You have realized the true nature,
My mother, I prostrate to you.
